SICUR 2026: Where Security and Technical Uniform Innovation Meet

The International Security Exhibition, (SICUR) marks its 25th anniversary in 2026, reinforcing its position as Europe’s leading showcase for security and emergency services technology.

From 24 to 27 February 2026, IFEMA Madrid will once again become the meeting point for procurement managers, law enforcement leadership, fire service commanders and security professionals. For anyone involved in the sector, attending is not just recommended — it’s essential to understand where the industry is heading.

As a benchmark manufacturer of technical uniforms, Partenon will once again be present at this milestone edition. You will find us at the centre of innovation: Hall 6, Stand 6D04.

What Makes SICUR 2026 Stand Out?

SICUR has long been Spain’s flagship international event for comprehensive security, bringing together companies, associations and professionals from both public and private sectors. It acts as a key observatory for emerging technologies, regulatory developments and operational trends.

If you’ve attended previous editions, expect an expanded and more international event this year. Early data released by the organisers confirms significant growth compared to 2024, both in exhibition space and international participation.

SICUR 2026 features 673 direct exhibitors (up from 650 at the previous edition), with over 22% international companies representing 25 countries. These figures reflect the strength and global relevance of today’s security industry.

Beyond the numbers, what truly matters for technical professionals are the innovations and themes that will shape operational realities in the coming years:

1. The Rise of EXO CORNER and Ergonomics 4.0

Dedicated space for exoskeleton technology continues to gain prominence. What once seemed futuristic is now becoming a practical solution for reducing physical strain during demanding operations, particularly for fire services and security forces.

2. Women in Security

The presentation of the 5th “Women and Security” Study during the exhibition highlights the growing importance of genuinely inclusive uniform design and equipment tailored to diverse operational profiles.

3. SICUR Innovation

This year’s Innovation Gallery has raised the bar, selecting only 16 cutting-edge solutions from all submissions. There is a strong focus on emergency response technologies, including advanced sensors for early detection of off-gas emissions in lithium batteries — a critical development for preventive safety in intervention units.

4. SICUR Cyber

Under the concept of “Hybrid Security,” this area reflects the convergence of physical and digital protection. Today’s security managers must integrate cybersecurity systems with physical devices such as cameras, wearables and access-control systems. The line between cyber and field operations is increasingly blurred.
