ADVERSE WEATHER SUIT

Partenon’s Adverse Weather Suit protects firefighters during operations carried out in adverse weather and in low-visibility conditions. It is therefore an essential item of PPE for safeguarding personnel in the execution of their daily duties.

This Category II PPE is certified in accordance with the following European and international standards:

OPTIMUM WATERPROOFING AND BREATHABILITY

Thanks to its three-layer fabric with a next-generation Gore-Tex® membrane, this garment provides durable waterproofing and breathability. It therefore delivers optimum performance in adverse weather conditions.

 

To enhance functionality and protection in the most demanding environments, the Adverse Weather Suit can incorporate three types of retroreflective tape:

 

  • Continuous microsphere heat-applied tape.

 

  • Segmented microsphere heat-applied tape.

 

  • Microprismatic technology tape.

 

  • Available in high-visibility red and high-visibility yellow.

MAXIMUM SAFETY AND ERGONOMICS

Partenon’s Adverse Weather Suit incorporates reinforcement fabric with high resistance to abrasion, tensile stress and tearing in particularly exposed areas, including the shoulders, elbows and forearms, seat and knees, as well as the lower sections of the anorak and overtrousers. The material is also highly flexible and lightweight, enhancing firefighter safety without restricting movement at any time.

It is also a highly versatile, comfortable and functional item of PPE, with side openings that provide access to the inside of the garment and can also be used as pocket access points.

Adjustable hood

The hood of the Adverse Weather Suit is designed with sufficient capacity to accommodate a wildland or rescue helmet. It incorporates six different adjustment points at the front and rear for a secure, fully adaptive fit.

Enhanced comfort

To improve firefighter comfort and support faster deployment, this PPE incorporates easily removable elastic braces and side openings at the lower legs to facilitate donning over boots.

Operational efficiency

Thanks to its multiple compartments, it offers excellent functionality. It includes a patch chest pocket on the left side with a water-repellent zip and drainage, as well as a radio pocket on the right chest and various loops for attaching a microphone or other equipment. It also features lower front pockets with water-repellent zips and drainage, together with a seamless internal patch pocket.

Gaiters

To further enhance functionality and protection in the most demanding environments, it also incorporates gaiters at the lower edge of the overtrousers, ensuring full waterproof protection in this area.
